DIDN'T WORK FOR WIFE & ADULT DAUGHTER
By mack (north aurora, IL) on Apr 8, 2009
My unit was damaged in shipping and came without several items, notably the video unit. i was able to repair the damage, get the missing parts and make the unit workable. The support people were excellent. The unit i received and replaced the hydraulics has about a 30lb minimum pull on each line.... (Read more)

Very pleased
By SilverEye (Philadelphia, PA) on Apr 9, 2009
Very affordable way to get cross-cable type functionality.Only issue is the resistance control, which can be abit sticky.Instructions should show where to apply lubricant (I still don't know) and it would be nice if the IFIT cards came out.

A machine that give me freedom of movement
By Big C (New Orlean, LA) on Apr 9, 2009
I've tried just about every type of machine to replace my free weights with and this machine has it all saves space and easy to use and with 220 pounds I can really pump it up.There's only two thing that I would like to have that would be the ability to download my routine to a SD card and in put in... Easy to use
By Fish (Savannah, GA) on Apr 10, 2009
The unit was not packed well for shipping. When it arrived, many of the parts were loose in the box. The instructions for a different unit were included. It appears that my unit had been used as a demo and then put back in the box. After calling for the correct instructions, I was able to put the ma... (Read more)

I Like It !
By OldandOuttaShape (Delaware, OH) on Apr 16, 2009
A little bigger than I thought. The adjustment for weight sticks out the back so the machine has to set away from the wall a couple of feet. It doesn't show that very well in the pictures. The packing was damaged when I got it but the machine was okay. It has built in exercises for Men, Women, and s... (Read more)

Fanstastic workout machine
By navyso (queens, ny) on Apr 25, 2009
In the past I have tried several different workouts to build my chest bigger but nothing worked but the Nordic Track PT3 is different. Because of the freemotion technology i was able to target parts of my chest i never worked out before and hit the muscles from different angles.I Strongly recommend ... (Read more)

Recently repaired this unit
By Ron (Upper Marlboro, Md) on May 20, 2009
My cousin owns this machine and has used it daily since last Nov 08. He recently noticed a frayed area on the cable and wanted to replace it. He ordered the cable to have onsite so a tech would have it once he requested warranty repair. A tech eventually came but had no documentation and the online ... (Read more)

Love This Machine
By HotMamma (CT) on Dec 1, 2009
This is a great machine!! I used it last night for the first time and LOVED the ease of use! The preset programs are awesome. I loved the "personal trainer" feel with the interactive coaching and rep counter. The only thing I dislike is the resistance is a little hard to change and there seemed ... (Read more)

Great Machine, not great shipping
By Architexan (Texas) on Jan 10, 2010
The machine itself is awesome. Great range of workouts and moves very smoothly. The touch screen display is nice and it's nice to have that there telling you what to do next. Just wish there were IFit cards available. Unit was easy to assemble. Packing was horrible. The box got damaged and the... (Read more)

Good machine once its together
By Fast Eddie (KC MO) on Mar 20, 2010
Mine also was damaged in shipping, but the support folks sent the parts ASAP. Now that it is together, I love it. Much cheaper and just as good a the Bowflex I thought I wanted. Its is hard for my girls to set the resistance however. (But i bought it for me!)

Good Purchase
By T (Menomonie, WI) on Apr 5, 2010
I've been using the PT3 daily for 4 months now. This is definately not a $2,000 machine, but well worth the $599 I paid. Took about 1 hr to put together and needed a 2nd person. Shifting the resistance lever is sticky. You need to pull up on the arm as you squeeze the trigger. Frustrating the 1... (Read more)

Pleased with purchase
By MVDT (Northeast) on Apr 28, 2010
I bought this recently and viewed it as a bit of a risk because the review info available online was pretty sparse, but the price was excellent and I really liked what it offered.
First the positives: The exercise motions are very smooth and the machine itself is rock solid during the exercises.... (Read more)

Different than I expected
By Mace (Provo, UT) on Feb 12, 2009
The freemotion arms are pretty versatile. I can get a lot of different angles on my muscles. The power shift resistance on my took a little gettin used to. In addition to squeezing the handle to change resistance I also had to lift up on it just a little before it would move. Not a big deal but it t... (Read more)
