seems like a commercial machine

NordicTrack says it's a commercial machine. I don't know if it is or not but it feels like one. I would recommend it to my friends and family and I have. tough as nails

I had knee surgery last November and and I needed a machine that was lo impact for rehab. I got used to this and I won't go back to a treadmill. In the process of rehab I also lost about 15 lbs. I wish this machine had the ifit cards so I could try them out but other than that I think it has all the... (Read more)

best for the money

For the money I think this is the best elliptical NordicTrack Makes. The only thing it doesn't have is ifit. I called the sales guy and he said all the features are the same as the 990. I absolutely LOVE this machine!

I highly recommend this machine. I've had it since October 2008, and using one of the "interval" programs I've lost 15 lbs. I do about an hour a day, 6 days a week. clanking after 6 hours of use

the machine started to make a clanking noise from the back of the machine after only about 6 hours of use. it's been getting worse and worse. to top it all, NordicTrack wants to charge me to repair it. they either send the parts (i pay S/H) or charge for somebody's time to come and fix it.so much ...
